PMF Non-Tremor Equipped 1-2.5" Leveling System (1" BMC Spacers) Ford F-250/F-350/F-450 2020-2022
This leveling package gives you multiple options to choose from to configuration a tailor made system that fits your needs and budget! OEM ride quality is retained or improved! This kit leaves the rear of the truck stock beside shocks if you choose to add them. The stock platform has a lot of rake to it. A 2.5" front BMC spacer or our 2.5" progressive rate Icon coils will leave the truck just a touch high in the rear but most people would consider the truck to be leveled. The 3.5" progressive rate coils will leave the front taller than the back and would require a 3.5" rear block replacement to sit level. The BMC spacers will retain OEM coil payload and ride, the replacement coils will increase travel and soften the ride some. Select the option and height to achieve the exact stance you desire!Castor Correction When increasing the height of the front end, castor decreases. Gone without correction, this will cause the truck to wander, increase wear and tear on frontend components, and eventually lead to "Death Wobble". Included in this kit are two options to fix this. First is a pair of alignment cams which drop in around the upper ball joint. Simple and effective these will keep you within factory castor spec or just a touch above. We also offer our adjustable 3-link arms for the ultimate front arm upgrade! These will allow you to dial in more castor and adjust axle placement for more tire clearance if needed. Handling and steering characteristics will be improved a good bit with the arms. These would also allow you to later modify lift height up to 7" of lift and still retain the same arms. We recommend adding our HD Adjustable Trackbar to improve front handling characteristics and tighten up steering feel. The OEM trackbar is a prone to premature failure at the balljoint side and the vulcanized rubber bushing at the frame side has too much flex. These two problems compound and allow death wobble to easily occur even on a stock height truck. Adding lift height will shift the axle off center and make death wobble an even bigger concern.We recommend selecting shocks to complete this package. A height of 1.5" or more will leave the factory front shocks too short. Not to mention, the factory shocks leave a ton to be desired. Its not uncommon to see failures of them in a short amount of time. All of our upgraded shock options are application specific tuned and will improve the overall ride and handling of these trucks!
